For over 70 years McCallum & Tritton have been undertaking funeral arrangements for the communities in which we are based. During this time we have built up an enviable reputation for quality based on a compassionate and highly professional approach to handling the arrangements our clients require. For simple, traditional funerals- and sometimes elaborate funerals - McCallum & Tritton are here to help you arrange the perfect celebration of your loved one's life. We take great pride in the service we offer.

Our current premises are situated at 46 Mersey View, Brighton-le-Sands, with private chapels of repose in the adjoining building in Holden Road East. We also have premises at 510 Stanley Road, Bootle.

We have a complement of highly trained staff, most of whom have been with us for many years.

A full range of coffins can be supplied, from simple veneer coffins to American style caskets. Eco friendly wicker and cardboard coffins in many different designs are also available. A wide selection of urns and caskets are available for cremated remains.

A choice of funeral vehicles

The company have run a fleet of Mercedes hearses and limousines for the last 40 years. This fleet is regularly updated and is maintained by professional Mercedes mechanics. On many occasions we have provided horse drawn vehicles and we can provide a selection of alternative vehicles including a motorcycle hearse on request.

We are able to advise on pre-paid funeral plans that can be tailored to the individual specification of each family's needs. Please take a look at the funeral costs page to get an idea of the costs involved.

Upon the retirement of Eileen and Kevin Tritton the company is now run by Andrew Stones who’s 42 years with the company resulted in him becoming a partner in 2011, he is assisted by new partners Dave Bray who has been with the company for 15 years and Ainsley Ottley who's been with the company for 12 years. They continue to maintain the principles which were put in place by Charlie, Douglas and Eileen when the business was set up.
